So Whats The Plan?

Here's a rundown to the three months I'll be spending out in South Africa...

September

15th Fly Out!

16th Arrive in Cape Town

16th- I'll be with Chris Lockwood doing some Football ministry/community work. When I'm with Chris I'll be staying with a family from one of the local churches.

Bit about the Father;  We moved to South Africa from the UK 4 years ago. Prior to this I led a church in Leicester for 10 years and was Chaplain to Leicester City for 5 years. I am presently co-leading a church in Capricorn one of Cape Town's most disadvantaged communities where I run a Football Project. I am also Life Coach and Chaplain at Africa Soccer Developments - a residential soccer school for 15-19 year olds.

October

6th My Birthday!
7th- I'll be with an Organisation called SAVE where I'll be apart of a Surf Project teaching the kids from the township. There I'll be staying in one of the backpackers lodge.

November

4th- I'll be with Helderberg Academy

Helderberg Academy in Somerset West, just 30 minutes out of Cape Town. We are a non profit organisation that teaches life skills through sport in three townships.  All of our work is aimed at the fatherless generation.
You would be doing: Weekly life skill coaching through rugby and soccer in three different communities
Home visits
Coaches mentoring
Holiday programs
Teaching PE in a primary school in one of the townships
18th- I'll be with Ambassadors in Sport getting involved with the Prison Football Ministry in Cape Town.

December
2nd-9th I have no plans at the moment, I hope to go exploring and see some of the things i may have missed.

9th I Fly Home

10th I'm HOME!!!!

That's It! Prayer would be really appreciated...
Prayer for safety, that everything works out and that God works through these different projects and works in me to help me grow more to Love and trust in him.

Thanks, Cal
